HTWU84-24

Built around a removable U-tube bundle, HTWU84-24 delivers high-temperature water heating for demanding service. High-temperature water flows through the tube side, so the heads rather than the shell set the pressure limit. The configuration measures 8 inches across the shell, 48-inch shell length, and roughly 53-1/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 32 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 400 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across industrial process heating, converter duty on HTHW loops, and campus and district energy systems.
