For high-temperature water heating, the HTWU line offers a removable U-tube bundle design; HTWU67-63 sits within that range. High-temperature water flows through the tube side, so the heads rather than the shell set the pressure limit. Physically, the unit runs a 6-inch shell, 84-inch shell length, and roughly 88-1/4 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. That works out to about 23.8 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 400 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in campus and district energy systems, converter duty on HTHW loops, and industrial process heating.
