HTWU127-44

The HTWU platform pairs a removable U-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and HTWU127-44 applies that design to high-temperature water heating. High-temperature water flows through the tube side, so the heads rather than the shell set the pressure limit. Its envelope centers on a 12-inch diameter shell, 84-inch shell length, and roughly 90 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 139 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 400 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Common applications are converter duty on HTHW loops, high-temperature hot water distribution, and campus and district energy systems.
