TCS-1484

The TCS/TCW tank heater platform pairs a two-pass U-bend bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and TCS-1484 applies that design to in-tank heating with steam in the tubes. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Its envelope centers on a 14-inch diameter shell, 84-inch shell length, and roughly 85-1/2 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 204 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature.
