SU307-2

SU307-2 is a SU/WU unit built on a removable U-tube bundle for steam-to-liquid heating. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. The configuration measures 30 inches across the shell, 84-inch shell length, and roughly 118-7/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 991 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Common applications are building comfort heating, instantaneous domestic water heating, and radiant panel and snow-melt converters.
