Built around a removable U-tube bundle, this configuration delivers steam-to-liquid heating for demanding service. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. The configuration measures 30 inches across the shell, 72-inch shell length, and roughly 98-11/16 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. That works out to about 778 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across building comfort heating, radiant panel and snow-melt converters, and instantaneous domestic water heating. This build is designated SU306-6.
