Configured for steam-to-liquid heating, this configuration carries the removable U-tube bundle construction that defines the SU/WU range. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. The configuration measures 26 inches across the shell, 72-inch shell length, and roughly 112-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 712 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers steel bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in instantaneous domestic water heating, building comfort heating, and swimming pool heating. This build is designated SU266-2.
