For steam-to-liquid heating, the SU/WU line offers a removable U-tube bundle design; this configuration sits within that range. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Physically, the unit runs a 26-inch shell, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 91-15/16 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. That works out to about 549 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include steel bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. This build is designated SU265-6. Typical duty includes building comfort heating, instantaneous domestic water heating, and swimming pool heating.
