SU266-4

SU266-4 is a SU/WU unit built on a removable U-tube bundle for steam-to-liquid heating. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Its envelope centers on a 26-inch diameter shell, 72-inch shell length, and roughly 106-3/16 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 694 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers steel bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in radiant panel and snow-melt converters, instantaneous domestic water heating, and swimming pool heating.
