this configuration is a SU/WU unit built on a removable U-tube bundle for steam-to-liquid heating. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. The configuration measures 26 inches across the shell, 120-inch shell length, and roughly 154-3/16 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 1130 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers steel bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes swimming pool heating, building comfort heating, and instantaneous domestic water heating. This build is designated SU2610-4.
