Built around a removable U-tube bundle, this configuration delivers steam-to-liquid heating for demanding service. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Physically, the unit runs a 26-inch shell, 120-inch shell length, and roughly 160-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 1159 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies steel bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. This build is designated SU2610-2. Typical duty includes radiant panel and snow-melt converters, instantaneous domestic water heating, and building comfort heating.
