SU207-2

A removable U-tube bundle gives SU207-2 the thermal and mechanical margin expected of SU/WU equipment in steam-to-liquid heating. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Its envelope centers on a 20-inch diameter shell, 84-inch shell length, and roughly 97-3/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 453 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes radiant panel and snow-melt converters, swimming pool heating, and instantaneous domestic water heating.
