The SU/WU platform pairs a removable U-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and this configuration applies that design to steam-to-liquid heating. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Its envelope centers on a 12-inch diameter shell, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 41-1/2 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 58 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. That combination is cataloged as SU123-4. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 125 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature.
