The HTWU platform pairs a removable U-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and HTWU65-23 applies that design to high-temperature water heating. High-temperature water flows through the tube side, so the heads rather than the shell set the pressure limit. The configuration measures 6 inches across the shell, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 64-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 22.1 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 400 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes industrial process heating, converter duty on HTHW loops, and high-temperature hot water distribution.
