For high-temperature water heating, the HTWU line offers a removable U-tube bundle design; this configuration sits within that range. High-temperature water flows through the tube side, so the heads rather than the shell set the pressure limit. Dimensionally it is a 6-inch shell unit, 72-inch shell length, and roughly 76-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 26.8 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 400 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across industrial process heating, high-temperature hot water distribution, and campus and district energy systems. This build is designated 5-268-06-072-001.
