High-temperature water flows through the tube side, so the heads rather than the shell set the pressure limit. Dimensionally it is a 6-inch shell unit, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 64-1/4 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. That works out to about 16.7 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets.
