Built around a removable U-tube bundle, this configuration delivers liquid-to-liquid heating and cooling for demanding service. Pumped boiler water circulates through the baffled shell against the tube-side fluid. Physically, the unit runs a 20-inch shell, 84-inch shell length, and roughly 105-1/8 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. It carries 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, N/A on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across condensate cooling, pool and storage-tower heating, and oil cooling and snow melting. Optional stainless shells, 90/10 copper-nickel tubes, and cast brass or bronze bonnets suit aggressive or brackish water service. The resulting model number is WU207-616.
