WU165-25

The SU/WU platform pairs a removable U-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and WU165-25 applies that design to liquid-to-liquid heating and cooling. Pumped boiler water circulates through the baffled shell against the tube-side fluid. The configuration measures 16 inches across the shell, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 69-3/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 188 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 125 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across condensate cooling, oil cooling and snow melting, and pool and storage-tower heating.
