Dimensionally it is a 5-inch shell unit, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 40-5/16 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 24 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. That combination is cataloged as CHXS536-2L. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature.
