Configured for compact liquid cooling in corrosive service, this configuration carries the fixed-tubesheet bundle construction that defines the CHXS compact range. It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. Dimensionally it is a 3-inch shell unit, 36-inch shell length in a 4-pass arrangement. It carries 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes chemical and food process cooling, hydraulic and lube oil cooling, and mechanical seal cooling. Stainless construction is available throughout the wetted path for aggressive or high-purity fluids; confirm the material schedule against the order. This build is designated CHXS336-4L.
