CHXS308-2S

A fixed-tubesheet bundle gives CHXS308-2S the thermal and mechanical margin expected of CHXS compact equipment in compact liquid cooling in corrosive service. It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. The configuration measures 3 inches across the shell, 8-inch shell length, and roughly 11-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 2.4 square feet of heat transfer surface on 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes mechanical seal cooling, hydraulic and lube oil cooling, and chemical and food process cooling.
