CHX624-1S

CHX624-1S is a CHX compact unit built on a fixed-tubesheet bundle for compact liquid cooling. Small-diameter tubes pack maximum surface into a short shell, keeping the mounting footprint tight. Its envelope centers on a 6-inch diameter shell, 24-inch shell length, and roughly 29 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 23 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, brass shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in engine jacket water cooling, injection molding machine cooling, and hydraulic and lube oil cooling.
