For compact liquid cooling, the CHX compact line offers a fixed-tubesheet bundle design; this configuration sits within that range. Small-diameter tubes pack maximum surface into a short shell, keeping the mounting footprint tight. Its envelope centers on a 6-inch diameter shell, 24-inch shell length, and roughly 29 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 23 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, brass shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Common applications are engine jacket water cooling, hydraulic and lube oil cooling, and mechanical seal cooling. This build is designated CHX624-1L.
