A fixed-tubesheet bundle gives this configuration the thermal and mechanical margin expected of CHX compact equipment in compact liquid cooling. Small-diameter tubes pack maximum surface into a short shell, keeping the mounting footprint tight. Its envelope centers on a 5-inch diameter shell, 14-inch shell length, and roughly 18-5/16 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 9.1 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, brass shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across engine jacket water cooling, hydraulic and lube oil cooling, and mechanical seal cooling. This build is designated CHX514-2L.
