ACFR-10333

Built around a fixed-tubesheet bundle, this configuration delivers compressed air aftercooling for demanding service. Compressed air passes through the tubes against cooling water in the baffled shell, and the tube interiors clean easily from either end. Dimensionally it is a 10-3/4-inch shell unit, 50-inch shell length, and roughly 50 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 88.2 square feet of heat transfer surface on 1/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across moisture and oil removal from plant air, small and mid-size compressor packages, and instrument and shop air conditioning. This build is designated ACFR-10333.
