Note: Unit pictured is representative of standard unit and may not exactly depict p/n ACFR-10276 as shown on this page.
Configured for compressed air aftercooling, this configuration carries the fixed-tubesheet bundle construction that defines the ACFR aftercooler range. Compressed air passes through the tubes against cooling water in the baffled shell, and the tube interiors clean easily from either end. Its envelope centers on a 10-3/4-inch diameter shell, 50-inch shell length, and roughly 50 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 73.099999999999994 square feet of heat transfer surface on 1/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. The unit is rated for 300°F maximum temperature. This build is designated ACFR-10276. Common applications are small and mid-size compressor packages, moisture and oil removal from plant air, and instrument and shop air conditioning.
