TCW-436

TCW-436 is a TCS/TCW tank heater unit built on a two-pass U-bend bundle for in-tank heating with boiler water in the tubes. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. The configuration measures 4 inches across the shell, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 35-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 6.8 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature.
