Built around a two-pass U-bend bundle, this configuration delivers in-tank heating with boiler water in the tubes for demanding service. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Dimensionally it is a 10-inch shell unit, 66-inch shell length, and roughly 65-3/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 78.5 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. That combination is cataloged as 5-276-10-066-001. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes domestic water storage heating, process tank heating, and hydronic-fed storage systems.
