Built around a two-pass U-bend bundle, 5-275-06-072-001 delivers in-tank heating with boiler water in the tubes for demanding service. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Its envelope centers on a 6-inch diameter shell, and roughly 69-1/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 26.8 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Common applications are domestic water storage heating, hot water storage tanks, and process tank heating.
