The TCS/TCW tank heater platform pairs a two-pass U-bend bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and this configuration applies that design to in-tank heating with boiler water in the tubes. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Dimensionally it is a 6-inch shell unit, and roughly 63-1/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 24.1 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. This build is designated 5-275-06-066-001.
