For steam-to-liquid heating, the SU/WU line offers a removable U-tube bundle design; this configuration sits within that range. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Dimensionally it is a 30-inch shell unit, 48-inch shell length, and roughly 82-7/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 539 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across radiant panel and snow-melt converters, instantaneous domestic water heating, and building comfort heating. This build is designated SU304-2.
