Built around a removable U-tube bundle, this configuration delivers steam-to-liquid heating for demanding service. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Its envelope centers on a 26-inch diameter shell, 96-inch shell length, and roughly 127-15/16 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. That works out to about 856 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers steel bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes instantaneous domestic water heating, radiant panel and snow-melt converters, and building comfort heating. This build is designated SU268-6.
