this configuration is a SU/WU unit built on a removable U-tube bundle for steam-to-liquid heating. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Physically, the unit runs a 26-inch shell, 48-inch shell length, and roughly 82-3/16 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 476 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include steel bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. This build is designated SU264-4. Installations range across instantaneous domestic water heating, swimming pool heating, and building comfort heating.
