For steam-to-liquid heating, the SU/WU line offers a removable U-tube bundle design; this configuration sits within that range. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Physically, the unit runs a 24-inch shell, 120-inch shell length, and roughly 151-3/4 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 946 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include steel bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. This build is designated SU2410-4. Common applications are swimming pool heating, radiant panel and snow-melt converters, and instantaneous domestic water heating.
