SU2210-4

Built around a removable U-tube bundle, this configuration delivers steam-to-liquid heating for demanding service. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Dimensionally it is a 22-inch shell unit, 120-inch shell length, and roughly 147-3/16 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 782 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. This build is designated SU2210-4. Installations range across swimming pool heating, instantaneous domestic water heating, and building comfort heating.
