Configured for steam-to-liquid heating, SU205-6 carries the removable U-tube bundle construction that defines the SU/WU range. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Physically, the unit runs a 20-inch shell, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 73-3/4 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. That works out to about 289 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. The unit is rated for N/A on the shell side, N/A on the tube side, and N/A maximum temperature. Installations range across radiant panel and snow-melt converters, instantaneous domestic water heating, and building comfort heating.
