The SU/WU platform pairs a removable U-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and this configuration applies that design to steam-to-liquid heating. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Its envelope centers on a 20-inch diameter shell, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 73-3/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 324 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. This build is designated SU205-2. Installations range across building comfort heating, swimming pool heating, and radiant panel and snow-melt converters.
