SU2010-2

The SU/WU platform pairs a removable U-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and this configuration applies that design to steam-to-liquid heating. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Physically, the unit runs a 20-inch shell, 120-inch shell length, and roughly 133-3/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 647 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. That combination is cataloged as SU2010-2. As furnished, materials include cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature.
