SU105-6

Built around a removable U-tube bundle, SU105-6 delivers steam-to-liquid heating for demanding service. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Dimensionally it is a 10-inch shell unit, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 65 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. That works out to about 56 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in building comfort heating, instantaneous domestic water heating, and radiant panel and snow-melt converters.
