Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Dimensionally it is a 18-inch shell unit, 48-inch shell length, and roughly 60-1/2 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 195 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across swimming pool heating, radiant panel and snow-melt converters, and building comfort heating.
