A double-wall U-tube bundle gives this configuration the thermal and mechanical margin expected of Diamondback DSU/DWU equipment in steam-to-liquid heating with cross-contamination protection. An atmospheric air gap between the inner and outer tube vents any breach to the outside, giving a visible telltale leak instead of silent mixing. The configuration measures 10 inches across the shell, 24-inch shell length in a 2-pass arrangement. It carries 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper (double wall) tubes, and naval brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 125 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. This build is designated 5-262-10-024-001.
