HTWU43-24

The HTWU platform pairs a removable U-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and HTWU43-24 applies that design to high-temperature water heating. High-temperature water flows through the tube side, so the heads rather than the shell set the pressure limit. Dimensionally it is a 4-inch shell unit, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 40-5/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 6.8 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 400 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across high-temperature hot water distribution, converter duty on HTHW loops, and campus and district energy systems.
