Note: Unit pictured is representative of standard unit and may not exactly depict p/n HTWU125-44 as shown on this page.
Configured for high-temperature water heating, this configuration carries the removable U-tube bundle construction that defines the HTWU range. High-temperature water flows through the tube side, so the heads rather than the shell set the pressure limit. Its envelope centers on a 12-inch diameter shell, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 66 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 98 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 400 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. This build is designated HTWU125-44. Typical duty includes converter duty on HTHW loops, industrial process heating, and high-temperature hot water distribution.
