HTWU124-64

Built around a removable U-tube bundle, HTWU124-64 delivers high-temperature water heating for demanding service. High-temperature water flows through the tube side, so the heads rather than the shell set the pressure limit. The configuration measures 12 inches across the shell, 48-inch shell length, and roughly 54 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. That works out to about 68 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 400 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across converter duty on HTHW loops, industrial process heating, and campus and district energy systems.
