HTWU106-45

The HTWU platform pairs a removable U-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and HTWU106-45 applies that design to high-temperature water heating. High-temperature water flows through the tube side, so the heads rather than the shell set the pressure limit. Physically, the unit runs a 10-inch shell, 72-inch shell length, and roughly 77-3/8 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 82 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 400 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes converter duty on HTHW loops, high-temperature hot water distribution, and industrial process heating.
