Built around a removable U-tube bundle, HTWU105-25 delivers high-temperature water heating for demanding service. High-temperature water flows through the tube side, so the heads rather than the shell set the pressure limit. Its envelope centers on a 10-inch diameter shell, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 65-3/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 71 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 400 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Common applications are campus and district energy systems, high-temperature hot water distribution, and industrial process heating.
