That works out to about 83 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 400 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes campus and district energy systems, high-temperature hot water distribution, and converter duty on HTHW loops.
