High-temperature water flows through the tube side, so the heads rather than the shell set the pressure limit. Dimensionally it is a 10-inch shell unit, 108-inch shell length, and roughly 113-3/8 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 124 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets.
