For liquid-to-liquid heating and cooling, the SU/WU line offers a removable U-tube bundle design; WU68-23 sits within that range. Pumped boiler water circulates through the baffled shell against the tube-side fluid. Dimensionally it is a 6-inch shell unit, 96-inch shell length, and roughly 100-1/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 36.2 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across oil cooling and snow melting, pool and storage-tower heating, and condensate cooling.
