Pumped boiler water circulates through the baffled shell against the tube-side fluid. Dimensionally it is a 18-inch shell unit, 48-inch shell length, and roughly 65-1/2 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. It carries 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. That combination is cataloged as WU184-612. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, N/A on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in condensate cooling, pool and storage-tower heating, and oil cooling and snow melting.
